Hey Guys!!

The other week me and Llewellyn decided to visit Bristol Zoo Gardens to celebrate our Anniversary, you can see both previous posts here and here. Of course that meant picking out an outfit, which then means in turn I share it with you lovely readers. All the clothes in this post I have had for a while so I don't actually have any links to the exact items unfortunately.

I had the idea for this outfit in my mind from the night before and was hoping it would look ok. You know what it's like, you get an idea and then it doesn't always look how you planned. Well this time it actually worked and I loved it.

I decided to go with my black midi dress, which is so comfortable especially when you eat a sandwich not realising you are wheat intolerant and bloat out! Black is of course my usual colour but I think I would like to invest in some different colours. I then paired it with my denim jacket because even though it was a lovely day, British weather doesn't always stay that way. I then wore my white canvas shoes as they are so comfortable and perfect for walking around the zoo in.

Also as you can see in the picture, the usual Blogger thing of having my camera and phone out as I snapchatted my day and was taking pictures!!

Is this something you would wear?

Boohoo Haul

Hey Guys!!

Today I am sharing with you the latest additions to my wardrobe. I have actually really been surprising myself in the styles I have been going for and I'm so happy to share them with you. Of course as well as these haul posts you will see them in outfit posts to.

So the lucky items to go from my wishlist to my basket was this gorgeous cropped jumper which is perfect for this in-between weather and also for Autumn. I love the colour of this and the fact it isn't to thick is just perfect.

Then to go with the jumper I added a pair of Mom jeans. Now to be honest I have seen these on a lot of people but wasn't sure of them for myself. I thought I will order them and try them on, if I don't like them I can always send them back. Well I was very surprised that I put them on and absolutely loved them!! They fit perfectly and I love that they have patches on them and a slight rip.

I also picked up another top, well a bodysuit, as I like having tops that I can wear casually or smarten up for a night out. This is a lovely one and I would like to get some more in different colours as long as they are in stock. It is a lovely thin material so wouldn't be to hot if I wore it on a hot day. It is a very plunging neckline as you will probably see when I wear it in an outfit post, but not in an inappropriate way.

Also as me and Llewellyn have decided that I shall pick one item for him to give me for Christmas, I decided to pick something for our Summer holiday we are going to have next year. This top stood out straight away as I was scrolling through the tops section. It is like a bralet but then you have full sleeves that are flared. I absolutely adore the pattern and as we are looking at Greece it will look amazing.

Also for a Summer holiday or maybe it would even look nice in the Autumn I had to pick up this beautiful looking Camel coloured hat. I have actually been wanting to get one of these for a long time but just never picked one up. I am actually going for a picnic with the family Sunday so might wear it then.

I am so in love with all these clothes I am getting lately and if you fancy any of these items you can follow the links below.

Have you bought anything nice lately?

Hey Guys!!

On Tuesday I shared with you my day at the Weston Air Show and I thought today I would share with you the outfit that I wore that day. I must say I probably should have worn something different as I was freezing but I loved the outfit anyway.

I decided to wear my black, midi skirt that I ordered from Boohoo which you will have seen in yesterdays' post, as I thought it is perfect to wear for a day at the beach. It is very comfortable and not to thick which is good, although not on a freezing day ha ha!! The nice thing about it is that you can wear it casual with a pair of sandals or you can smarten it up with a pair of wedges or heels.

I then paired it with my white, cropped t-shirt that I bought from Primark. This fit lovely and because it is cotton material I wasn't to warm. I think I will definitely get some more as they do go perfectly with midi skirts.

I then finished off the outfit with my denim jacket and a pair of white sandals. Both are from Primark, the denim jacket from a while ago but the sandals quite recently. I also used my black, over the shoulder bag which is also from Primark.

All items that can be linked are linked below.

Boohoo Haul

Wednesday, 29 June 2016

Hey Guys!!

Today I thought I would share with you what I bought from Boohoo a few weeks back. Lately I have been wanting to renew my wardrobe and have a bit more of a grown up wardrobe if that makes sense. So I have come to the decision of when ever I get paid from work I am setting myself a budget to spend on a few new clothing items.

So this month I made a wishlist and bought these few items from it.

Jacket £10
Top £5
Skirt £6

Pyjamas £8

Hat £3

I have worn some of these items as you will see in tomorrows' post but me and Llewellyn also came to the decision that he is going to put one item away for Christmas for me. Out of this lot he is putting the pyjamas away for me, which I am sad about but also happy about as they are so cute.

Do you find you are renewing your wardrobe every so often?

Hey Guys!!

I have really been enjoying sharing my outfits with you even if I haven't necessarily planned the outfit. To be honest nine times out of ten I just throw something on and hope it looks ok, anyone else do that?

I thought I would share with you this week what I wore to the Vintage Car Rally. I was hoping to wear shorts but went with some trusty jeans as the weather wasn't great, it ended up being sunny though. My jeans are high rised and were so comfy all day. I paired the jeans with a grey cropped top which was thin enough I wasn't to warm when it did warm up. I then wore my baseball jacket which I got from a little beach shop when I was on holiday one year and then wore black canvas shoes to tie it all together.

Shoes - New Look (similar ones in white)
Bag - Primark

I will take another picture to update with on the weekend so you can see the items properly.

Hey Guys!!

I'm sure you may have seen my post on Wednesday of when I went bowling, if not you can read it here. Well I thought I would share with you what I wore as I am trying to get a bit better at sharing outfits with you.

It actually didn't take me long to decide what to wear for once as it was a lovely day and I wanted to wear something cool. I went with a lovely, white, cotton dress that I had bought from Primark last year which is lovely and flowy (if that's a word) and has a brown, belt that goes round the middle. I then paired it with my trusty denim jacket which is also from Primark but I bought this a long time ago but you can get similar ones.

For my feet I wore my tan, ankle boots which are from last year from Primark, I swear all my clothes aren't just from Primark. These are so comfy, and they make the noise on the floor you make when wearing heels.

I loved this outfit and I felt so cool in it especially as it was so hot here Tuesday and it was an easy outfit to bowl in!!

Boohoo Haul

Hey Guys!!

A couple of weeks back I thought I would treat myself to a new outfit for the Lukas Graham concert me and Chloe are going to in Birmingham.

I wasn't to sure what to get to be honest as I want to dress casual and comfortable and what is more comfortable than a nice pair of jeans. I of course went to Boohoo to have a look at what they had available in their jeans section and found a lovely pair of blue, high rise jeans. I haven't wore them yet as the concert is tomorrow and will be doing an OOTD post for you and will let you know how comfortable they are in that post.

Kate 5-Pocket High Rise Blue Skinny Jeans

I then had a look at their tops as I thought a nice, cropped top would go lovely with this and would also be nice and cool during the concert. The material on this top is so thin it definitely will be nice and cool.

Charlotte Spaghetti Strap Crop Top

Of course then I looked at their jackets, I have been wanting a bomber jacket for ages but was trying to find the perfect one. I came across this one and added it straight to my basket. I love the colour of it and especially love the orange on the inside of it. It is quite thick so will be perfect for when summer is over, if we actually have a summer.

Hey Guys!!

On the weekend we celebrated Chloes' 19th Birthday with a family party which I must say was so much fun, especially as I got to see my best friend Eve as well. Of course this meant I had to find something to wear, whether that was something I already owned or bought something new. Can you guess what I did? Yeah, you guessed it, I bought something new.

I was actually quite proud of myself because I usually always go for something black, as you can tell from previous OOTD posts. This time though I went for a beautiful tan coloured playsuit from Charlotte Crosbys' range on In The Style, which you can see HERE. I did also buy some beautiful new shoes, that I am totally in love with and want to just preserve them so they last forever!!

This playsuit was definitely worth the money, I did have to have it taken in a little bit on the sides as I didn't want to be flashing everyone all night, as that would have been embarrassing. It is faux suede and is thin enough that I wasn't to hot at all, was really nice and cool to wear. What was silly of me was that I forgot to take a picture of the back of it. The back is backless so I didn't wear a bra, but as it was a halter neck where I tied it into a bow it draped down nicely. I loved this playsuit so much and can not wait to wear it again.

Do you see what I mean by how beautiful these shoes are? Shoe wise I did want something different as I always wear the same black stiletto style shoes for every occasion. I had been looking for a pair of over knee boots orginally but because the weather has been so nice I thought my legs might get way to warm. Then I seen these on Boohoo and fell in love, you can take a look HERE. They are so comfy to wear and because of the cut outs I wasn't to warm at all. The feel of them is quite velvety and there is a zip on the back to do them up, so you're not fussing with laces especially after having a drink.

My make up, I just went with a neutral look on my eyes using the Glitterball Palette from MUA and then used a L'oreal Paris lipstick in the shade 703 Oud Obsession which tied it all together. As you can also see I did curl my hair for the party, which I loved so much now that my hair is short.

Hope you enjoyed this post!!

Let me know what kind of outfits you like in the comments!!

Hey Guys!!

This Saturday just gone was another Rugby day so of course I watched it, then me and my sister went out for a few drinks. Luckily this was a planned night out so had already planned my outfit a few days before. Don't get me wrong I like a spontaneous night out but that's where I struggle to find clothes to wear!

Due to our weather not being the warmest, especially as we are still February, I decided on my black jumpsuit and then used a pink blouse I have had for ages as a jacket. I felt very smart in it as the jumpsuit is so 'clean cut' and I also feel very grown up wearing it, not like I'm 25 or anything.

Blouse - Primark

Unfortunately these items are not sold in these stores now but you may be able to get something similar. Also sorry for the rubbish photo as I completely forgot to take a decent one so used my one off Snapchat.

Hey Guys!!

On Saturday I had a night out with my friend for her Mums' Birthday, so I thought I would share with you what I wore as I want to start sharing more OOTDs' with you.

This outfit was very comfy, I felt it also looked really smart as usually I wear skirts or dresses. The only thing is you don't have to wear a bra with it, which I am so not used to doing, but it was fine as there was no malfunctions.

Unfortunately now while looking for the links for these items I have found they are now unavailable.

Primark Haul Part 2

Friday, 15 May 2015

Hey Guys!!

As I said in yesterdays post here is the rest of what I bought in Primark and also what I got in Asda. You can see the first part of the post HERE if you want to see what clothes I got.

Accessory wise I did only get things for my hair as I don't wear jewellery, other than my wedding & engagement rings. I love flower crowns lately as it brings life to your style with out going to far. I also picked up these headband bows as I thought these are quite vintage and would look so nice with a bun. These were £1.50 to £2.50.

Being the Disney fan I am I really couldn't leave these flip flops behind and I don't usually wear flip flops. I am a bit scared to wear them though as I don't want the picture to come off. I also picked up these grey sandals as I thought these would look great with my cropped jeans. Then I picked up these nude wedges which I am wearing today at a Wedding. These all ranged from £2 to £14.

I then couldn't resist getting a new bag. The thing is I like to have a range of bags to use on nights out and when we go for meals as not all bags go with certain outfits. This bag is quite big so will fit a lot in, this was £6.

As I said in a previous post I needed short pj's as all I seem to own is winter pj's. Do you see a pattern emerging here? I picked up more Disney items, I thought these were gorgeous, especially the Cinderella ones, I actually love the shorts on the Care Bear ones. These were all £10 in Asda.

I then picked up some slippers as they will be easier to pack for the holiday than my boot slippers, these were £3. I also picked up a bandeau as a lot of my tops are off the shoulder so thought it was a good idea to get, this was £4. The socks I actually got in Peacocks and they are knee high, they will look great with my short pj's and my night shirts, these were £5 each.

And that concludes everything I bought. I am glad I did a big shop like this as I won't need to go shopping for a while now as my wardrobe is now all up to date for me.

Hope you enjoyed this post!!

Primark Haul

Thursday, 14 May 2015

Hey Guys!!

I decided to update my wardrobe and what better place to do that than Primark. I have actually split this post into 2 as I actually bought a lot and also ended up getting some things from Asda.

As all this stuff is also for my holiday you will be getting outfit posts of everything to. I did get some different things to what I usually get, but I was rather proud that I did buy more colours.

Lets begin :)

The flowery shorts and the leopard print shorts are quite flow-y, if that's a word, and are so perfect for the hot weather, if we get hot weather. They were both £4. The mint shorts are denim and are quite short but will look fine on. These were £5.

I also picked up this gorgeous bikini, I actually seen this on couple of haul posts and videos. I love having a range of bikinis so this is a lovely addition to my collection. This was £6.

I definitely needed some new pj's and I am slightly obsessed with Disney and Comics so these were all perfect. I was a bit gutted that the trousers that went with the Simba top were out of stock though. These all ranged from £5 to £10.

.
I also needed some basic tops as I didn't seem to have any once I sorted out my clothes. I got 2 white, strapped tops, a mint vest, a blue vest, a white gypsy top and a grey & white bardot tops. These all ranged from £1.80 to £5.

I seen this shirt on a haul or two also and thought it would go lovely with a pair of jeans and sandals. The back has a flower mesh panel as you can slightly see. This was £10.

I have been rather loving the whole tassel trend so of course I had to get it. I can't wait to style this with some outfits. This was £12.

I got another pair of my usual skinny jeans. I also picked up these Boyfriend Cropped Jeans to add a bit of a different style. The Harry Potter joggers I actually wanted ages ago so was glad that these were in store even though they were the last ones there. These ranged from £5 to £13.

I then picked up this dress as strangely I don't own a white dress. This will be perfect for the holiday, especially if we have nice weather. This was £12.

So these were all the clothing items and you can see what accessories and clothes I bought from Asda tomorrow :)

Hope you enjoyed this post!!
